Fisher's Hornpipe

This Irish hornpipe is well known, and part of almost every fiddler's repertoire. It can be played as a hornpipe, a reel, and even bluegrass-fast! You can find it in the Fiddler's Fakebook. There's another version, in a different key, in the New England Fiddler's Repertoire, and I'm sure you can find it in various other resources. This particular version was found online at

Though we've known and played this tune for years, we thought we'd focus on it this week and maybe learn a new trick or two... make it something special in our own repertoire!
